Our product range, which includes Mama Peanut Butter, Mama Honey, Mama Groundnut Sauce, and Mama Simsim Balls, is crafted to deliver authentic taste, nutrition, and quality you can trust.
Our Story
Our journey began during the second COVID-19 lockdown, born from a passion to solve a real problem. Our founder, Amito Olga Barbara, a former branch Operations Manager at Pride Microfinance(MDI), was searching for safe and nutritious peanut butter for her family. She discovered a gap in the market, most local options were sold under poor hygiene conditions, while supermarkets offered costly imported brands filled with additives.
Inspired by this challenge and the struggles of local groundnut and simsim farmers who lacked fair market access, Amito saw an opportunity. She envisioned a brand that would empower farmers, promote food safety, and provide healthy alternatives for Ugandan families.
What started as a small home-based experiment, packaging peanut butter for friends and family, quickly grew. Early customer loyalty and a pivotal opportunity from Total Uganda Bulamu Branch propelled our brand into supermarkets and formal markets.
Incorporated on 30th September 2020, House of Mama Natural Condiments Ltd continues to grow, championing local sourcing, quality assurance, and community empowerment with every product we create.
